About Our Studio

Pilates Zone is a fully classical apparatus studio. We are truly committed to teaching the Pilates method, just as Joseph Pilates originally designed and developed. We believe that Pilates is a life style and not just another form of exercise. Our highly professional teachers will guide you on your Pilates journey, where you can apply what you learn to every day life. Our classes are small groups (max 6 people per class).

At Pilates Zone, our mission is to heal your body with control of your mind to elevate your spirit, in a fun and safe environment.

Our Get Started package is the best way to start. It includes 4 Private Sessions (one on one instruction) to guide and teach fundamental skills of the Pilates method. Meet Our Team

Yoni, Pilates Zone Founder & Pilates Master Teacher

Yoni first discovered Pilates in 2005 while living in Los Angeles, CA. Her love for the Pilates method inspired her to complete a 600 hour Pilates Teacher Training Certification with Teague Pilates in the Classical Pilates style. With Teague being a manufacturer of Pilates equipment, Yoni had extensive exposure to the manufacturing process which gave her a deep understanding of the components and mechanisms of Pilates equipment and apparatus, and how they interact with the human body to create the well known results of the Pilates method.

In 2010, Yoni continued to pursue her education at an internationally recognized Master Teacher Training program in Boulder, Colorado. Often referred to as the “Harvard” of Classical Pilates training, The Pilates Center curriculum emphasizes the benefits of teaching in the classical style as it was created and taught by Joseph H. Pilates, himself.

With specialized training in post-rehabilitative exercise programs, Yoni takes an interest in creating and teaching safe and fun Pilates programs for post-surgical clients; and also those with back, neck, and joint conditions; to improve their strength, flexibility, and stability. She enjoys working with individuals along a wide array athleticism and ages ranging from 4 to 95 years old. Additionally, Yoni has enjoyed her experiences training Professional Athletes in golf, soccer, surfing, basketball, hockey, and swimming, to optimize their athletic performance.

Yoni teaches with an alignment focus, seeing the body as a whole that is moved by breath. With consistent effort, commitment, and patience, Yoni believes that the Pilates practice can truly enhance your life. Outside of the studio, you can find Yoni playing with her two beautiful daughters and enjoying nature with her family.

 

 

Laurence, Tai Chi Master

Laurence is a 5th-degree black belt in Karate and has been a yoga and Tai Chi teacher for over 50 years.

Laurence's goal is to work in health, fitness, Tai Chi, and other mind and body fields. He pursues and lives a healthy lifestyle, both as a professional and personal choice. He is involved in holistic health and mindfulness for adults. He has seen and experienced the great results that come from being active, eating well, and deep breathing. He enjoys encouraging healthy living in others and helping them reach their goals.

Patti, Mind & Body Mentor

Patti is a mind/body mentor helping women to remove blocks so they can learn to listen to and trust their inner guidance and awaken to their wisdom and power.

She is a certified Pilates, yoga (including Trauma Recovery Yoga), and Qigong instructor. She is also an Akashi Soul Realignment practitioner, Usui and Karuna Holy Fire Reiki Master/Teacher, crystal healer, and essential oil advocate.
